Salt Bae was born in 1983 in a Turkish family in Erzurum, Turkey. His father was a mineworker. Due to his family’s financial background, he was forced to leave school in the 6th grade. Salt bae worked as a butcher’s apprentice in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul.
